G.O. Bixler - Tustin Man of the Year - by Bill Moses
Tustin Chamber of Commerce members and guest joined last
Wednesday night in attending the chamber's most successful,
to date, anual dinner-dance installation of officers and
directors. The event was held at Red Hill Tennis Club.
Surprise announcement of the evening was disclosure of
Tustin area Man of the Year choice.
Tustin Chamber Presirdent G. O. Bixler was honored in
this accolade. "Bix", as he is generally known, thus was
honored not only for an exceedingly active 12-month period
in which he served as chairman of the 1960 Citizens' Committee
for Sewers, ' but also as "temporary chairman" a title
that became permanent of the Citizens Committee for Water.
