For over 40 years Pat Machado, a retired educator, has donated countless hours of her time to volunteering
in Tustin.
Tustin Dollars for Scholars, Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts (TACFA), and Tustin Public Schools Foundation have all greatly benefitted from her talents.
Pat has served on the board of directors of TACFA since 2010 and has served as their vice president of
programs, as well as being hands-on with all aspects of its annual Broadway in the Park over the years.
She is past president of Tustin Dollars for Scholars, cochaired its Derby Day in 2019, is chair (since 2009)
of their food booth during Tustin’s Concerts in the Park, and currently serves as their newsletter editor and corresponding secretary.
Pat has also co-chaired Tustin Community Foundation’s Old Town Tustin Holiday Walk and is a key
participant in their annual Sip & Stroll event. And at Tustin Public Schools Foundation’s annual Dinosaur Dash, Pat has been a regular volunteer at the check-in booth. Since 1984, she has been an active member and is
past president of the American Association of University Women, Tustin Branch.
Pat finds quality time to enjoy her family. She and her husband Bob have a son Michael, a daughter Ginny,
and four grandchildren. Pat and Bob enjoy traveling together when time permits.
